Belgium Publishes Draft FATCA Guidelines

The Belgian tax administration on May 4 released a draft of its guidelines for compliance with the U.S. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (http://financien.belgium.be/nl/E-services/fatca).
On April 23 Belgium and the U.S. signed an intergovernmental agreement that calls for the Belgian Ministry of Finance to transfer data to the IRS, as required by FATCA.
